These trademark registrations predate the registration of the disputed domain name. \r\n\r\nThe Complainant is a global healthcare company based in Switzerland that provides solutions to address the evolving needs of patients worldwide (see www.novartis.com). The Complainant manufactures drugs such as clozapine (Clozaril), diclofenac (Voltaren), carbamazepine (Tegretol), valsartan (Diovan) and many others.\r\n\r\nThe Complainant’s products are sold in about 155 countries and they reached nearly 800 million people globally in 2018. About 125 000 people of 145 nationalities work at Novartis around the world.\r\n\r\nThe Complainant uses its registered domain names to connect to its websites through which it informs potential customers about its NOVARTIS mark and its products and services.
